Enjoy your next vacation at Ventura Pine Cabin in historic Holland, Michigan.  Many wonderful Lake Michigan beaches are located nearby. Ventura Pines Cabin is a stunning and uniquie vacation rental.  This custom log home constructed of solid white cedar, is the epitome of rustic elegance, recently renovated and well appointed.  With 3500 square feet of living space, 6 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, this home provides an upscale and comfortable place for you to gather with loved ones.  It is perfect for multigeneraltional family gatherings, providing many outdoor spaces to gather, such as the screened front porch, pool and pool deck,  backyard deck, yard and firepit.  The large 18 x 36 heated pool is available for your private and exclusive use. This is the sister property to Ventura Pines Cottage, which is located within easy walking distance across Lakeshore Drive 1000 feet to the north. These two properties are available together for WEDDINGS, FAMILY REUNIONS and other special events.

Ventura Pines Cabin Description: Ventura Pines Cabin is situated on 1.22 wooded acres on the east side of Lakeshore Drive and has a cozy and comfortable ambiance even though it is spacious with about 3500 square feet of living area. This large cabin can sleep up to 14+ people (large group surcharge applies), and has 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms on three levels as follows: 

• MAIN FLOOR: The living room has a soaring tongue in-groove ceiling, two story fireplace, stained glass windows, leather couches, and 40 inch LCD TV. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area have oak flooring, hickory cabinets with granite countertops, built in desk, and triple French doors to large deck overlooking the park like backyard. The dining room opens to both the kitchen and living room, and has a dining table that extends to seat up to 10 people. A laundry/mudroom is conveniently located right off the kitchen, as is the 'cabana bath' with door to deck & swimming pool. Also on the main floor are two large well appointed  bedrooms with queen sized beds and log ceilings, hall bathroom with whirlpool tub, stone and glass shower, marble counter, and heated tile floor.   The front porch is screened in and provides an amazing place to visit, nap, play games, rock on a rockign chair, eat breakfast, enjoy happyhour as the setting sun brings a golden glow to the porch. 
• UPSTAIRS 3rd FLOOR:  Upstairs is a wonderful and sunny loft area that overlooks the living room, another laundry room with stackable Washer/Dryer, two more large bedrooms, a special kids only attic style bed room, and bathroom with 6 foot tub/shower and stained glass window featuring a sailboat. 
• WALKOUT BASEMENT:  There is plenty of space to spread out as the walkout lower level has a family / rec room, half bath and bedroom with no doors has 2 double beds and a twin bed. Adjacent family rec room in basement has blue sectional couch, ping pong table, pool table, air hockey, booth style table, TV with XBox and XBox games, and sliding glass door to back yard. The basement hallway has a full-size refrigerator for all that food a drink that is needed for large groups.  Key code entry will be provided to enter the basement thru a beautiful leaded glass door to the "mud room" and stairs leading to main floor.  Two car garage has bikes provided for your use during your stay.   

BEDS & BEDROOMS: There are plenty of beds to go around! 3 rooms have 1 queen bed each, 1 room has 3 doubles, kids room has 2 twins under sloped ceiling, basement has two doubles and a twin.  Please note that there are no bedrooms that have a private bathroom.  

•  Main Floor:  There are two large queen bedrooms on the main floor, both have log ceilings.  
• Third floor:  There are 3 bedrooms on the 3rd floor: Sail boat room with queen bed dormer window and loveseat;  bedroom with 3 double beds; and kids play room with 2 low twin beds under a sloped ceiling with no closet. 
• Basement:  Spacious sleeping area in basement has two double beds and a twin bed, closet, dresser and no doors.   

BATHROOMS:  There are 3 full baths and and half bath, all recently renovated with upscale appointments such as jetted tub, heated tile floors, custom showers, stone, marble, granite, stained glass, hickory cabinets, and unique lighting.  There are two full bathrooms on the main floor including hall bath and cabana bath, 1 bathroom on upstairs 3rd floor level located in hall near two bedrooms; and a half bath in the basement near recreation room and sleeping area. 

SWIMMING POOL AND LAKE MICHIGAN BEACHES:   A vacation at the Cabin allows for you to enjoy the water in two different ways, as there is both a large 18 x 36 in ground, private, heated, swimming pool, as well as Lake Michigan beach access within walking distance. (AUG 2018 BEACH UPDATE - one of the two beach access within walking distance is CLOSED due to erosion cause by high water level. The other access is .6 mile to the north at New Holland Street).  There are numerous public Lake Michigan beaches and parks located a short drive or bike ride away.  Please see Area Attractions tab for more info. 

OUTDOOR SPACES:  Enjoy being surrounded by nature in the many outdoor spaces including: front porch, backyard deck, firepit, large backyard perfect for lawn games, swimming pool and 1600 square foot pool deck with a huge amount of seating for everyone.   No log cabin would be complete with out a front porch!  Large, wrap around porch is screened in, has plently of seating, and is a great place to relax, visit, nap, read, eat, play games, have happy hour in the golden light of the setting sun, and more.   The firepit is another favorite gathering place from roasting marshmellows and a great way to cap a fun filled day of making memories with those you love the most. Fire wood provided.   

BIKES PROVIDED:  Enjoy the extensive area bike path system on the bikes that are also available for your use, including adult and youth bikes, and a bike trailer that seats two little kids. There are several parks nearby that offer beach access, playgrounds, fields and picnic areas.

Make your next vacation a VENTURA one! Summer weekly rates $4500 – 6500 for Saturday – Saturday stay. Larger Groups over 11 people are are possible at an additional rate. Also available for time frames tailored to your needs in the off season at reduced rates.
